Every year, WLP is lucky to receive a visit from Gelman Library’s Robin Delaloye who is also the Mount Vernon Campus Historian and Archivist. Robin treats the students to a engaging, energetic walk through the history of Mount Vernon Seminary, College, and Campus. The Women’s Leadership Program was born out of the legacy of the Mount Vernon College, so it is important for our students to understand the history of the institution and the women behind it.
Nedenia Dye, a 1993 alum of Mount Vernon College, owns and manages a highly regarded spa, Baan Suerte, on the Honduran island of Roatan. She comes from a long line of MVC alumnae, including her great grandmother: business executive, philanthropist, and socialite Marjorie Merriweather Post (who famously contributed Post Hall to the Mount Vernon Campus).
